MVe Reformer

The MVe® Reformer is Peak Pilates’ commercial aluminum reformer, the machine the brand builds its group-class line around. The powder-coated aluminum frame keeps total weight at 135 lb (61 kg), light enough for one instructor to reposition using the retractable handles, and the carriage runs on a five-spring system of one red (heavy), two yellow (medium), and two blue (light) springs.

Its defining feature is the patent-pending nesting design. Units stack up to four high without removing legs, risers, or shoulder blocks; the shoulder blocks and risers retract in seconds and return to full working height just as fast, so a multi-purpose room can clear its floor between class formats. A four-position footbar with safety latch, four-position gear system, and three-position headrest adjust the machine to different bodies and exercises.

The MVe suits group reformer studios and home practitioners who want studio equipment at home. It sits at a 15.5″ carriage height and ships in black upholstery only. If you want a lighter-duty machine for occasional home use, Peak’s Casa line costs less and is the more proportionate choice.
